• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup of milk

• Cook Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

• Combine sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl.
• Place aside.
• In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
• Whip heavy cream in a medium mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
• Whisk together milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and cornstarch in a large saucepan until well combined.
• Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
• Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
• Divide the custard evenly among four parfait glasses.
• Each glass should be topped with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
• Melted chocolate should be drizzled over each parfait.
• Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes prior to serving.
