Chocolate Strawberry Parfait Recipe
This chocolate strawberry parfait is a delectable blend of sweet and creamy layers. The chocolate and strawberries complement each other perfectly for a decadent dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until fully melted and smooth.
- Combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
- Allow to macerate for 10 minutes.
- Begin assembling the parfaits by spooning whipped cream into the bottom of each serving dish.
- Layer the macerated strawberries on top of the whipped cream.
- Drizzle melted chocolate on top of the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers until the serving dish is full, then top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 1 hour before serving.
