Blueberries and Cream Parfait Recipe

This blueberry and cream parfait is a light and refreshing summer dessert that is sure to please.

Ingredients

• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
• 1 cup fresh blueberries

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Cook Time: 5 minutes
• Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

• Combine blueberries and sugar in a small saucepan.
• Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries have burst, about 5 minutes.
• Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
• Whip heavy cream in a medium mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
• In a separate medium mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
• Layer blueberry mixture, whipped cream, and yogurt mixture in small glasses or jars to make parfaits.
• Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
